Most of the furniture at Rieumes has been sourced from local brocantes and antiques markets around the region. If you are interested in buying French antiques, would like me to source specific pieces, or would like to come and stay at Rieumes and search for your own French finds then please do get in touch.
Brocante ToursWe offer bespoke tours guiding guests around the region’s markets, antique shops and brocantes to discover their own French finds, stopping for lunches and exploring local culture as we go. Any purchases along the way can be stored at Rieumes and arrangements made for delivery home.
Each tour is approximately 4 days, Monday to Thursday. Monday: Arrive Toulouse (Blagnac). Dinner at Maison Rieumes. Tuesday: Visit the medieval town of Mirepoix followed by Pamiers in the afternoon. Return to Maison Rieumes. Dinner: Self-cater or eat out locally. Wednesday: Visit Saint Girons and surrounding area. Return to Maison Rieumes in the late afternoon. Dinner: Self-cater or eat out locally. Thursday: Travel to Toulouse in the morning for a final brocante visit. Depart Toulouse (Blagnac). Group size: Each group is a minimum of 5 adults. If you are a group of more than 5 and have dates that suit you better and that are available, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss a bespoke tour.
